Congratulations to the High School for being awarded the Cleanest School in the District for the 4th quarter of the 2024-2025 school year! Not only did they earn the top spot for the quarter, but they also claimed the #1 overall title for the entire 2024–2025 school year! A special thanks to the High School custodial staff Steve Johnson, Jimmy Burr and Jesse Nellums for their hard work to obtain this award.
Hillyard, the district’s third-party cleaning provider, conducted quarterly walkthroughs of each building throughout the school year. The results added up to the following annual scores:
High School: 3.17
John Boise Middle School: 3.05
South Elementary: 3.02
North Elementary: 2.95
“Overall, this [Warsaw] district custodial staff had a great year and continue to provide the district with clean and healthy facilities,” stated Hillyard Account Manager, Tom Barnes, on the end-of-year review.
According to Warsaw School’s Director of Maintenance, Tim Snider, this is a true team effort. He shares, “As a district, we continued to meet our goal of maintaining a 3.0 average. Over the past 3 years I have seen a lot of positive changes on how our schools are taking shape. This comes with a huge thank you, to both staff and students, for buying in and supporting the program.”
As we head into the summer months and prepare for a new school year, we look forward to continuing our commitment to clean, safe, and welcoming facilities at Warsaw R-IX.
Cheers to a tradition of pride & excellence in keeping our schools clean. Keep up the great work, Wildcats!
